STUDIES ON BIOLOGICAL PRODUCTIVITY AND NUTRIENT CYCLING OF ARTIFICIAL FOREST ECOSYSTEM OF KORENA PINE

The systematic studies on primary production, including biomass, annual increment of biomass, annual litterfall, annual decomposition, leaf area index and density of leaf area of the artificial fcrest ecosystem of korean pine in Maoer Shan area have been completed with the priciples and methods of productivity ecology ln the present paper. The law of primary productivity fixing, eccumulating, distributing, conversing, decomposition and turning over in the scosystem has been revealed by the comprehensive method.Based on the studies and analysis of the net primary production, nutrient content and nutrient dynamics of different components of the ecosystem, as well as nutrient accumulation distribution and transferation of the ecosystem were determined and discussed in the paper. In the same time, the systematic analysis technique was used so study the nutrient cycling and the dynamic model of nutrient cycling was established. The modle is very important to understand the process of the nutrient cycling of the ecosystem.The sesultt of the research in this pape will be very useful for constructing and managing the stable and highyield stand of korean pine.
