The Comprehensive Measuring instrument of Parameters Relating to Forest Fire Behavior

Based upon the systematic analyzing models of calculating fire danger rate and fire behavior at home and abroad, the authors make use of computer technology. microelectronic technology and sensor technology. and employ Visual Basic Language under Windows operation system to develop the comprehensive measuring instrument that depends on notebook computer to gather or input by keyboard the meteorological factors of temperature. humidity and wind in real time at fire area, and then combines the rainfall. terrain and fuel type condition. It can provide the forest fire behavior's pertinent parameters of the fire danger rate. head fire rate of spread. fuel consumption, frontal fire intensity and so on at fire area for incident Command Post or fire crews. At the same time the results may be displayed. saved in outdoors and printed at.home.
