Changes of Endogenous Hormones in Betula platyphylla during the Male Flower Development

The content variation of GA, ZR, ABA and IAA during the development of male flower of Betula platyphylla was measured with ELISA. Combining with the morphology and anatomy, the relationship between the development of male flower on Betula and these endogenous hormones was researched. The result showed that low content GA and low content ABA, IAA, ZR during the first stage of male flower development are useful to the differentiation of male flower of Betula . ABA, ZR and IAA are advantageous to the differentiation of stamen primordium and the form of archesporial cell.
