Influence of the Partical Size on the Characteristics of Biomass Pyrolysis

Using white birch as the biomass raw material, which is divided into three grades: 0.2～0.5 mm, 0.5～0.8 mm, 0.8～1.2 mm, and adopting the method of TG and DTG, the authors proceed the pyrolysis experiment and the pyrolysis characteristic research under four conditions of the ascend temperature velocity, namely 10, 20, 40 and 60℃/min. The results show that under the condition of the same ascend temperature velocity, along with the biomass particle dimension's aggrandizement, the average pyrolysis velocity trends to reduce, which is relevant to the ascend temperature velocity. When the ascend temperature velocity is high, along with the biomass particle dimension's aggrandizement, the reducing degree of the average pyrolysis velocity is obviously larger than that under the low ascend temperature. Along with the biomass particle dimension's aggrandizement, the temperature T p of the greatest weightlessness speed point obvious aggrandize, when we proceed the pyrolysis under the high ascend temperature velocity, we should as far as possible minimize the dimension of the biomass particle.
