Identification of H8 Strain of Endophytic Fungi from A Tea Plant and Its Culture Conditions for Producing Red Pigment

An experiment was conducted to study the morphology characteristics and taxon of H8 strain of endophytic fungi from a tea plant.The culture conditions for producing red pigment were also discussed.Result shows that the strain belongs to Fusarium,and its teleomorph is Ascomycete.The hyphae of the strain H8 could produce red pigment during growth.The optimal culture conditions for the fungi to produce red pigment were carbon-nitrogen ratio 40∶1 at pH 5 by using dextrose as carbon resource and peptone as nitrogen resource.
