Liquefaction of Salix and Its Products Analysis

Salix flour was liquefied with polyols( mixture of polyethylene and glycol) using sulfuric acid as catalyst. Liquefaction process was optimized by response surface methodology( RMS) and the liquefied products were measured by NMR spectra. The optimum craft for the Salix flour liquefaction was under the liquid-solid ratio of 4∶ 1,140 min,170 ℃,and catalyst content of 5% with the yield of 97. 84%. In the process of liquefaction,the degradation and the polycondensation reaction were simultaneous,and the main liquefied products were furfural compounds,the guaiacyl group of lignin structure and aliphatic compound.
