DENG Yi-nan(Department of Chinese Language,Anshan Normal University,Anshan 114005,China)
This essay expounds the thinking of people-oriented in Analects of Confucius.First of all,the core of Analects is "benevolence"."Benevolence" is love too.At that time, love means loving all people. The second one is 'do not do to others what you would not have them do to you' and 'a benevolent man help others to take their stand in so far as he himself wishes to take his stand, and gets others there in so far as he himself wishes to get there'.The third part is about the conception of administration.Such as "economy in expenditure, and love for men;and the employment of the people at the proper seasons" and low taxes, being careful of punishment, regarding wisdoms, and other thinking of people-oriented and disbelieving ghost or god.
