Studying on the Structual Feature of the positive Clutch of a Rotating Key Type and practicability to Increase Its Braking Angle

Considering the structural feature of the positive clutch of a rotating key type, this paper discussed that the braking angle of a brake matched with the clutch can not be given freely, but it is determined by the structure of the clutch. The formula for calculation of the braking angle is derived, the practicability for increasing the braking angle discussed. Consequently, the working condition of the clutch of a rotating-key type may be improved.
