Strength experiment research on steel bodyshell of Q6W-2 low-floor LRV under static load

To examine the performance of bodyshell of the Q6W-2 typed low-floor LRV under different static loads, strength experiment has been done for the bodyshell of the LRV produced. Considering the characteristics of the bodyshell structure of the LRV and different loading conditions, auxiliary loading device is designed. The experimental results show that the strength and stiffness of the bodyshell meet the corresponding technical requirements. One or two modified suggestions about the structure of the bodyshell are proposed. The test results are compared with the numerical ones by FEM, the former is in accordance with the latter.
