A linear stabilizer circuit for increasing the efficiency

Although the current usage of linear stabilizer supply has many advantages,its biggest blemish lies in the low transformation efficiency,usually only35%~60%.Therefore,how to increase the linear stable power supply's efficiency becomes an important problem.The article analyzes the key problem of influencing the linear stable power supply's effi-ciency,aims at the problem that linear stable power circuit's NPN type of voltage regulate transistor needs a higher positive bias voltage,and this bias voltage will finally become an electric circuit consumption,puts forward a kind of improved type of linear stable power circuit,which uses PNP type of transistor as voltage regulate transistor,makes use of its characteristics of the bias voltage being negative,can make the voltage regulates transistor bias voltage to the state of bringing exhausts decline to0,and increase the linear stable power supply's efficiency to a big degree.
