Development of External Magnetic Field Measurement System for Pipelines based on Virtual Instrument Technology

An external magnetic field measurement system for oil gas pipelines based on virtual instrument technology and suitable for field use is introduced in this paper.The hardware configuration,software structure and working principles of this system are explained.It is proved by the actual tests that compared to the previous measurement system based on MCU,this new system not only can meet the accuracy requirement of external magnetic field measurement,but also have sufficient memory,and is easy to redevelop and operate.
