A Precise Real Time Frequency Tracking Algorithm in the Power System Based on the Improved DFT Algorithm

There are difficulties in performing synchronized sampling and integral period truncation in the harmonic analysis of power system with the Discrete Fourier Transform,so the results of harmonic analysis will be seriously disturbed by the spectrum leakage.An adaptive sampling frequency tracking algorithm which adapt to realization of precise real time harmonic analysis is introduced.This algorithm adopts DFT based on window function to achieve the precise power system frequency,then uses the recursive algorithm of DFT based on window function dynamically adjusts sampling interval to track after the power system frequency.Matlab simulation shows the efficiency of the algorithm.
