The status and important role of mathematics in the field of electromagnetic measuring

Electromagnetic measuring technology,from its appearance to today's rapid development,is nearly related with the advancement and application of mathematics,especially modern mathematics.This paper emphasizes the important role of mathematics and points out that mathematics is the foundation,kernel,even impetus of electromagnetic measuring technology through analyzing its course of development.
