The research on an algorithm of infrared image de-noising based on lock-in filter

In this paper,infrared image noises were firstly analyzed,after that,a novel lock-in filter algorithm was proposed.Further more,some new VC++.NET programs were designed on infrared images of Piston-Bolt and Crank-Piston-Pole.At the same time,the de-noising effect of the new algorithm was compared with that of medium filter and mean filter.Finally the de-noising effect of the new algorithm and the classical algorithm was estimated by two indexes——signal to noise ratio and mean square error.Experiment results show that by using the new algorithm of infrared image de-noising,the mean square error reduces to 7% of that by using medium filter algorithm,meanwhile,the signal to noise ratio increases 10dB comparing with that by using medium filter algorithm.
