Direct current control of active power filter based on active disturbance rejection controller

In order to improve the control strategy of APF(Active Power Filter),the active power balance among voltage-source APF,source and nonlinear load is analyzed in this paper,based on the analysis a direct source current control strategy of shunt APF found on active disturbance rejection controller(ADRC) is presented.The load current and source voltage are all contributed to total disturbances and the expending state observer(ESO) is used to estimate.Then the disturbance can be compensated by the nonlinear state error feedback control law.The measurement of harmonic current and reactive current are eliminated,and avoid complicated current reference calculation.The design of controller is predigested.The simulation results show that the source current is compensated to sinusoid with the same phase as source voltage.Which validated the control strategy is viable.
