Removal of Nitrate from Adipic Acid Mother Liquor

The performance of ion exchange resins D201,D301,T315 and T313 in removing NO3-in filtrate of crystallization of fine adipic acid was studied.Dynamic exchange curve showed that T313 resin performed best in exchanging NO3-.The pH value and electrical conductivity of the treatment solution were also stable.Consequently,it can be used to remove NO3-from saturated aqueous solution of adipic acid.To elute NO3-on T313 resin and recover the exchange capacity of it,1mol/L sodium hydroxide solution in 10 times volume of the resin can be used.
