Analysis on key factors of cleaner production for spent etching solution processing corporation

Based on the cleaner production audit carried out in a spent etching solution processing corporation, the material balance data of production workshop before and after medium/high fee reconstruction project was tested. The key factors influencing the recovery efficiency of copper from spent etching solution were analyzed. The plateand-frame filter press and the crystallization reactor were determined as main reconstruction items. After achieving the equipment reconstruction, the copper recovery efficiency was increased from 82.60% to 94.95%, and the yield of copper sulfide sludge was decreased by 74%, thus obtaining good economic and environmental benefits.
