STUDY ON THE EFFECTS OF DYNAMIC PARAMETERS FOR AN AUTOMATIC MORTAR

Yang Guolai Yang Junrong Chen Yunsheng (Mech. Eng. College, NUST, Nanjing, 210094)  
Based on structural and physical performance of gun systems, the effects of dynamic parameters on response of automatic mortar are studied in this paper. The differential equations of motion are formulated using method of multi-body dynamics. Dynamic program is developed to conveniently complete simulation tests for various design cases. Matching of dynamic parameters is found to decrease muzzle disturbance, which include different structural parameters and connection stiffness. The above research can be used in overall arrangement and structure design of gun.
