NUMERICAL CALCULATION TO THE INFLUENCE OF TEMPERATURE ON SAFETY AND ENERGY FOR PROPELLANT

The influence of temperature on thermal self ignition, heat release rate and reaction heat for propellant decomposition is studied. The physical model and differential equations of heat conduction for propellant are established. Based on the numerical calculation, the self ignition time of propellant in different temperatures are calculated. The calculation results are discussed and compared with the experiments. The calculation results are in accordance with that of experiments and the realiable foundation is provided for the calculation to self ignition of propellant.
