Applying Optimized Entropy Weight Model of Multicriteria Decision-making to Post-occupancy Evaluation

Post-occupancy evaluation(POE) cares for the functions and satisfaction of occupants for buildings that have been occupied for years.This paper proposes an optimized decision-making model for post-occupancy evaluation of schools in Hong Kong.In this model,the entropy weight integrates the importance weight to avoid uncertainty and randomicity of traditional Delphi method.The model is applied to post-occupancy evaluation of three schools in Hong Kong.Scientific and satisfying results are obtained.Moreover,the findings indicate that one of these schools was not necessary to be removed to a new schoolhouse,but it was still re-established.It is not cost-efficient or rational.
