Intermediate Orbital Method Of Analytic Solution of Free Flight Trajectory

Li Zhentao (Beijing Aerospace Automatic Control Institute)  
This paper derives a group of computing formulas of intermediate orbit which can be applied not only to satelhte trajactories but also to missile free flight trajectories. The solutions of the formulas are very comparable with the solutions of 2-body problem. Due to the essential difference between ballistic trajectory and satellite trajectory, the values of the constant coefficients in ballistic trajectory may have great difference from those in satellite trajectory.
