Interventional therapy for Fallopian Tubal Pregnancy

Objective: The article is to discuss the clinical effect and related factors to treat the tubal pregnancy patients by uterine artery chemoembolization. Methods: 27 cases of tubal pregnancy patients received uterine artery angiography. The target uterine artery were injected therapeutic MTX (one case by injecting 5-Fu) through catheter and then embolized with gel foam. The clinical symptom, physical hydrops,β -hCG blood and pelvic hematacele change and absorbing of pelvic hydrops were followed after the surgeries. Result: All cases succeed, 26 of which cured and only 1 failed. The cure rate was 96.3% and there was no complications. 3-10 months after the surgery, 4 patients had healthy babies. Conclusion: It is minimal invasive, with high cure rate and preventing intraperitonea bleeding effectively and keeping the integrity of the arteria uterine with interventional therapy. It is an effective way of curing the tubal pregnancy and remain fertile.
