Objective To investigate the relationship between hyperthyroidism and electrocardiographic(ECG) abnormality.Methods 170 patients with hyperthyroidism were analyzed by ECG,and seclcted 170 healthy people as control.Results 152 cases with hyperthyroidism had abnormal ECG.The most frequent abnormality was sinus tachycardia,SFT abnormal changes.There were 32 cases with abnormal ECG in control group.The incidence of abnormal in patients with hyperthyroidism was higher than normal control(89.41%VS18.82%,P0.001) .Conclusion The patients with hyperthyroidism had high rates of abnormal ECG,the most frequent abnormality was sinus tachycardia,ST-T abnormal changes.
