Objective To investigate the relationship between hypothyroidism and electrocardiographic(ECG)abnormality.Methods To analyse ECG changes in 98 patient with hypothyroidism and 98 healthy people as control group.Results 89 case with hypothyroidism had abnormal ECG.The most frequent abnormality was sinus bradycardia,QRS low electric voltage,ST-T abnormal changes.There were 16 cases with abnormal ECG in control group.The incidence of abnormal in patients with hypothyroidism was higher than normal control(91% vs 16%,P0.001).Conclusion The patients with hypothyroidism had high rates of abnormal ECG,the most frequent abnormality was sinus bradycardia,QRS low voltage,ST-T abnormal changes.
