Objective To study the effects of systemic mental interve-ntion on patients with post-stroke depression and anxiety. Methods Totally 96 patients with post-stroke depression and anxiety were divided into interventional group(n=48)and control group(n=48)according the hospital order. The control group was only given the general care, based on this the interventional group was given systemic mental intervention for a period of 3 months. The effects were evaluated with FMA HAMD HAMA. Results Before the intervention, the scores of FMA HAMD HAMA in two groups were no statistically significant. After the intervention, difference of the scores in interventional group were significantly better than those in the control group (P0.01). Conclusion The systemic mental intervention reduces post-stroke depression and anxiety degree significantly and play an active role in motor function.
