ANOMALIES VARIATION OF LOAD AND UNLOAD RESPONSE RATIO OF WELL LEVEL TO EARTH TIDES BEFOR AND AFTER TWO MODERATE EARTHQUAKES TANGSHAN

In this paper, the theory and method with respect to the loading and unloading response ratio led into the calculation of tides data of ground water level have been quoted Thro ugh the nonlinear response of rock strain and stress, the physical mechanism of the loading and unloading response ratio of the earth tide of bulk strain have been analyzed It is expounded and proved that calculation of the loading and unloading response ratio by means of the observations of the ground water level is possible, and their calcu lation method has been showed The Loading and unloading response ratio of the earth tide of the level of some part wells in north China area has been calculated by this method, and the anomalies variation of load and unload respon se ratio of well level to earth tides before and after moderate earthquakes which occurred in Tangshan with Ms 5 1,5 0 in 1991 and 1995 , respectively
