Head theory and DeP in Chinese

The paper focuses on several De-related issues including head theory, endocentric construction, nominalization and so on. It is arguedthat Dein Chinese is a functional head, the feature of which facilitatestheprojection of Deto DeP. Based on this, the author holds that there is no nominalization phenomenon in “N DeV” structure, though the categorical feature of the whole phrase is \.
