Observations on the Capillary Permeability of Patients with Chronic Brucellosis by Isotope ~(131)I Assay

The capillary permeability of 56 patients with chronic brucellosis was measured by radioactive isotope 131I assay, results showed that 41.7% of the patients had capillary hyperpermeability and the average half absorption time of the skin storage was 11.71±3.58 minutes, which was significantly different from that of the healthy control (8.45±1.93 minutes). Sixty percent of the patients with serious brucellosis had capillary hyperpermeability and half absorption time of the skin storage was 13.16±2.41 minutes, while in the mild group only 25.8% had hyperpermeability with the half absorption time of 10.20±2.62 minutes.
