Vibration control of structures with TLCD using artificial neural networks

The vibration control method of structures with TLCD by using artificial neural networks is introduced in the paper. Firstly, the semi-active control strategy is developed and then, area of orifice opening of TLCD is controlled making use of neural networks with BP algorithms and the damping ratio of TLCD is adjusted. The numerical analyses under earthquake indicate that the intelligent control method introduced in the paper is efficient.
