Study on FEM to simulate slip and seismic liquefaction of slope-field by theory of two phased dynamics

Theory of two phased media dynamics is used to analyze the seismic liquefaction and slip and dynamical response of slope field, based on the model of soil mechanics and taking account of dynamical nonlinear constitutive relation, soil dilatancy, rigid degradation, hysteresis and relative motion of water and soil. In the same time, an artificial boundary condition is copied with simulating the wave propagation in pore medium. A set of equations of subsoil layers is built. The equations are discrete for two cases which can be used to analyze the problem of water permeation. Firstly a matrix equation with the displacement of soil skeleton and water displacement as variables is set up. Secondly, the matrix equation taking pore water pressure, displacement of soil skeleton and the displacement of water as variables is also set up. Two kinds of computer programs are established. A good tool is found to understand and deal with this problem.
