Structural design earthquake level for earthquake resistant works and its decision analysis

Firstly, this paper studies the seismic reliability of multistory dwelling brick buildings on the basis of the seismic vulnerability curves of a set of representative multistory dwelling brick buildings given by reference . And then through the decision analysis based on cost-expected earthquake losses, the optimum design intensity for a given region of intensity Ⅷ is obtained and the corresponding seismic reliability index is given.
