Research on comparison of several push-over analysis methods

WEI Wei, FENG Qi min(Ocean University of Qingdao, Qingdao 266071,China)  
Push over analysis as a combination of nonlinear static analysis and earthquake response spectrum is becoming a popular tool for seismic performance evaluation of existing and having been designed structures. In this paper, as the international representative push over analysis methods, capacity spectrum method, displacement coefficient method and adaptive spectra based push over procedure are introduced and compared.
