Forward research of collapse analysis of reinforced concrete structures

ZHANG Lei-ming, LIU Xi-la (School of Civil Engineering and Mechanics, Shanghai Jiaotong Univ. , Shanghai 200030, China)
There are three major difficulties in structural collapse analysis, namely the description of discontinuous displacements, contact-collision analysis and description of large displacement and large rotation arisen in collapse process. It is provided in this paper the comments on the current research focusing on the aforementioned points plus the collapse criteria. At the same time, the work done by the authors is also presented in brief. And so are the prospects of the future research in collapse analysis, as for reference.
