Study on forecasting intensity of ground motion induced by engineering explosion

The recent developments in world of the forecasting intensity of ground motion induced by engineering explosion are introduced. Based on the statistical analaysis of measurement data obtained in monitoring the excavation blast operation at Lingao Nuclear Power Station, a equivalent explosive method is proposed, and the attenuation of ground motion induced by explosion are analyzed. The results can be used for controlling explosion works and ensuring the safe operation of Dayawan Nuclear Power Station. The method and experience formulas have referential valve for giving a direction of engineering explosion.
