Experimental study on seismic capability of a nine-storey composite masonry building

The experimental study on a 1/4 scale composite masonry model was done and the seismic behavior was acquired. The model made of masonry and many reinforced concrete columns were installed in the corners and middle of the wall. The model has 9 stories and its height is 6.8 m. The non-linear seismic analysis for the model and the real building was carried out and the seismic ability of the buildings was evaluated. The seismic countermeasures for the composite masonry buildings are introduced.
