Review on study of seismic stability analysis of rock-soil slopes

Slope failure induced by earthquake is one of the most popular earthquake geological disasters. The state-of-the-art advancement of several important problems in seismic stability analysis of rock-soil slopes is reviewed, including analysis method of seismic response, dynamic properties, strength criteria, parameter testing, failure mechanism and failure location, seismic stability evaluation index and safety standard, earthquake input and computation accuracy of seismic stability evaluation index, and concise remarks are made. Then, existing problems are pointed out and the study problems, which need to be done in future, are suggested. Especially, the effects of the ground motion inputs on seismic stability analysis of rock-soil slopes are of great importance, but the study on them is rare, so we should study them preferentially.
