The study of propagation properties of crack at hole of cable connecting ear plate with guyed mast structure

This paper adopts a two degrees of freedom propagation model.We track the propagation of crack according to the propagation increment of the depth point and the surface point on the crack front.Non-dimensional shape factors of the depth point and the surface point on crack front of all kinds of cracks are obtained with finite element method,which are fitted to a curve with the functional expression of multinomial based on the principle of the least square method.The discrete non-dimensional shape factors are substituted by the data of simulation curve.Then we can calculate the non-dimensional shape factor of the crack with any shapes by the Lagrange interpolation method based on the data on the simulated curve.Next,we can calculate the range of stress intensity factor necessary for determining the velocity of propagation.Finally,we can determine the propagation property of the crack at hole of ear plate connecting the masts and the cables according to the propagation velocity of the depth point and the surface point.
