Link Capacity Ajustment Scheme (LCAS) for SDH Virtual Concatenated Signals and the Development of Its Specification

Built on the powerful combination of GFP, virtual concatenation and the link-capacity adjustmentscheme (LCAS), network operators can allow adjust pipe capacity. This paper mainly described the characteristics and structure of LCAS. The recent development of the related technical specification of LCAS also introduced.
