Power System Transient Stability Decision-Making Based on Fuzzy Neural Networks

This paper presents a method for decision making of generator tripping and loadshedding based on fuzzy neural networks which use a short window of post fault generator power angles from PMUs. The whole neural network consists of classification part and decision part. The first part is a fuzzy competed radial basis function network, and the decision part is a fuzzy competed BP network. The simulation results of a real 49 machine system demonstrate that the proposed method is effective.
