The Nonlinear Decoupling Control of the Bearingless Induction Motors Based on the Airgap Flux Orientation

The bearingless induction motor which combines the the induction motor and magnetic bearings is a strong coupled complicated nonlinear system.The decoupling control of the electromagnet torque and radial suspension force is the base of the stable operation of bearingless motor.In this paper,the airgap flux field oriented vector controller is proposed to realize the decoupling control of this nonlinear system even in the transient case based on the suspension principle.Experiments show the stable suspension and good performance of the proposed algorithm.
