Analysis of Control Characteristics for Drive System of Electric City Bus

The drive control system of the permanent magnetic direct current (PMDC) motor with the enhanced magnetism windings used in the electric city bus is developed. The mathematics model of the drive control system for this motor is established. The optimal control method of linear quadratic performance index is applied to design the acceleration control parameter. Experiments show that the drive control system's antijamming ability is strong and the adjustable performance is fast and smooth, it can meet the demand of power characteristics very well.
