Design of Self-optimizing Fuzzy Power System Stabilizer

Zhao Shuqiang Ding Feng Hou Zili Cao Deling ( North China Electric Power University Baoding 071003 China)  
A new type of fuzzy power system stabilizer, self-optimizing fuzzy power system stabilizer(SOFPSS) was designed by combing formula fuzzy control algorithm and continuous factor multiplication algorithm. SOFPSS is simple in calculation and suitable for real time control. It optimizes the control rules on line and overcomes the shortcoming of inherent bad steady state performance of the common formula fuzzy algorithm. The computer simulation and dynamic experiments demonstrated the effectiveness of SOFPSS.
