Optimization Design of Speed H_∞ Controller for Permanent Magnet Linear Motor Servo System

An optimization design method of speed H∞ controller is presented for permanent magnet linear motor servo system in this paper. The design of speed controller is converted into a standard H∞control problems based on building the system state space model. Then an output feedback g sub-optimal H∞ controller is obtained by using LMI approach so as to guarantee the robustness of the linear servo system. The results of simulation and experiment indicate that the linear servo system with this controller has a good performance for restraint disturbance as well as for tracking of input signal.
