Research on Tracking Control of High Precision Linear Servo System Based on Learning Feed-Forward Control

Learning feed-forward control(LFFC)is introduced to suppress further the tracking error of direct-drive permanent magnet linear synchronous motor(PMLSM)servo system. In this paper, the design and realization of learning feed-forward controller is presented by means of qualitative knowledge of the process and the disturbances. The learning feed-forward component is a neural-network-based controller, comprised of a one-hidden-layer structure with second-order B-spline basis functions. Simulation result shows that LFFC reduces effectively the influence of external disturbances, end effect, friction and parameters variation; and enhance the track performance of the PMLSM servo system.
