High Voltage Transmission Line Fault Diagnosis Based on RBF Network With Improved LBG Algorithm

RBF network is adopted to accomplish high voltage transmission line fault diagnosis by using its advantage of being adapt to solving pattern recognition problem. An appropriate RBF network model is built, and an improved LBG learning algorithm is also proposed to execute clustering process for RBF network. By simulation analysis and testing for the fault tolerance of network, the results show that the method presented in this paper can not only diagnose fault correctly for high voltage transmission line but also has fault tolerance performance for distorted input signal, and therefore it has practical application value for real time information processing system.
