Speed-Adjustable System of Sensorless Direct Torque Control for Induction Motor Based on the MRAS Scheme

Three kinds of speed observation methods are discussed based on (MRAS) in this paper. The mutual MRAS method for the rotor speed and stator resistance identification is proposed to implement a speed sensorless direct torque control of induction motor. The method can solve the problems of speed control accuracy and system stability under the influence of motor parameter variation. Simulation results show the feasibility of the proposed strategy.
