A Precision Fuzzy Control Method of Permanent Megnetic Linear Motors

A PD type fuzzy controller has no integral part, so the steady control precision cannot be guaranteed. In this paper, a fuzzy control method that can ensure static precision is proposed to promote the traditional fuzzy controller and is applied to the speed control of a permanent magnet linear motor (PMLM). The proposed fuzzy system can run a traditional fuzzy controller and an integral controller added by a stable parameter value. According to different state levels the two controllers can switch smoothly. For PMLM control system, the output of speed control using the proposed fuzzy system includes a stable and a changing value when the controlled system is close to stable state. The experimental results show the fuzzy control method that can ensure static precision has a higher performance than a traditional PID and a traditional fuzzy controller in speed control.
