Analysis of Inductance,Permanent Magnet EMF and Slot Torque Ripple of Dual-Rotor Permanent Magnet Machine

Dual-rotor permanent magnet machine is a new kind of permanent magnet one which features high torque-to-weight ratio and high efficiency even adopting the ferrite magnet. The permanent magnet EMF and the inductance of the machine are studied and calculated in this paper and the special method to lower the slot torque ripple for this kind of permanent magnet machie is analyzed. For the inductance and the permanent magnet EMF, analytical method, FEM one and prototype experiment are adopted respectively to obtain a similar result with one another.
