Modeling of Contactless Power Transfer Systems With a Phase-Shifted Control Method

In contactless power transfer(CPT) systems,the traditional method to adjust the transferred power is serializing a DC/DC converter at the input side,which not only increases the cost and control difficulty but also decreases the efficiency and reliability of the system.A phase-shifted control method is proposed to eliminate the DC/DC converter in current-fed CPT system.The transferred power can be controlled effectively by adjusting the short-time of the full-bridge inverter.The impedance models of the current-fed CPT system are set up and the calculation equation of the key parameter is built up.By analyzing the equivalent circuit model of the phase-shifted CPT system,the analytical resolutions of the primary side resonant voltage and current and the transferred power are obtained respectively.All of them are valuable for system design and analysis.Experimental results verified the theoretical results.
