Control for Inverters in Parallel Operation With Pre-synchronized Voltage References

A novel inverter parallel system based on pre-synchronized voltage reference signal and output power difference regulation is proposed to take advantage of both the conventional wireless droop method and the distribution control method. The pre-synchronization control for voltage reference signal is implemented by combining power line communication (PLC) and digital signal processor (DSP) hardware with the corresponding software algorithm. In parallel system, the phase angle of each voltage reference signal is exchanged by PLC and regulated to be identical among all the modules. The active power and reactive power of each module are calculated and exchanged by means of communication such as PLC and controller area network (CAN) in parallel system to generate the output power differences. The accumulative power regulation algorithm is proposed with theoretical analysis in detail, and the phase and amplitude of the voltage reference signals are regulated by the output power differences. Simulation and experimental results are obtained in the dual-module parallel system to verify the validity and feasibility of the proposed control.
